Chris and his management have become increasingly aware of the international demand for CdeB products - and of the fact that these are not always easy to locate.

The store has been established specifically to enable followers of Chris to purchase his music and merchandise without effort. Ultimately, it is our intention to include the widest choice of products possible.

Chris de Burgh's new album FOOTSTEPS was released in the UK on UMTV on Monday 13th April. The UK version of the album includes the exclusive bonus track Rhythm Of The Rain / Crying In The Rain Please watch this space for release dates in Spain, Portugal, Asia, Canada and the US. The album has already been released in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux, Poland, Russia, the Ukraine, Norway and Sweden. The ‘covers’ on ‘FOOTSTEPS’ represent a deeply personal and candid appraisal by Chris of songs which have influenced and affected the way he has crafted his own particular musical imprint. Following the UK release Chris will play a series of dates in the UK during April and May 2009 accompanied by his band and Orchestra. Note that this album will not initially be available from this store.

Diane and Rosanna Davison Pilates DVD now available.

Chris's wife and daughter Diane and Rosanna have contributed to a 'Body Centering Pilates' instructional DVD. Proceeds of sales will go to two charities; Spinal Injuries Ireland and A Research Project in Body Mind Centering and Pilates at the University of Surrey, U.K.

Released on April 21st 2008 through UMTV and initially only available in the UK and Eire, 'Now and Then' is a new compilation album of Chris's greatest hits and classic tracks. The compilation was announced by the release of a promotional single, the duet 'Live For The Day', recorded with rising 20-year-old Lebanese star Tina Yamout. During his trip to Lebanon last year, Chris performed on 'Star Academy', the Middle East's biggest reality music TV show. On this show Chris discovered Tina, a young Lebanese singer, who he believes is the most talented young singer he has come across in 20 years. Since then Tina has been to London and recorded the single duet with Chris. Tina is 20 years old and currently studying in Beirut for a degree in Marketing whilst simultaneously finishing writing her first album. Chris premiered a live performance of the song with Tina when he returned to 'Star Academy' on April 4. Watch the video of 'Live For The Day' Read the full press release

Chris de Burgh and 'Arian'.

Chris has recorded a version of his song ''The Words 'I Love You'', originally released on the 2004 album 'The Road To Freedom', with the Iranian band 'Arian'.

The song is recorded in English and Farsi and is included on Arian's current album 'Bi To Ba To' which was released in Iran in May 2008.

This is an exciting project as it is the first collaboration between Western and Iranian artists.

Chris and his manager have just returned from a trip to Tehran to look into the possibilities of playing a concert there.


'Much More Than This' - Limited Edition Box Set

Chris's work as an Ambassador to the United Nations involves some fund-raising commitment. By the kind involvement of Universal Records we are delighted to now make available a limited edition box set, 'Much More Than This', which includes four CDs, one of which features early Chris de Burgh demos, first mixes and otherwise unheard and unavailable material.

The box set will never be made available through any commercial outlet. You will only be able to buy it through this store or at future Chris de Burgh live performances.

Profits from sales of the box set will be donated to the L.I.F.E. charity.
